About Indian Healthcare League (IHL)
The Indian Healthcare League (IHL) is a pioneering T20 cricket league designed exclusively for doctors and healthcare professionals across India. Conceived as more than just a tournament, IHL represents a powerful movement that blends sport, wellness, and social responsibility to create meaningful impact within the medical community and society at large.
Healthcare professionals dedicate their lives to caring for others, often at the cost of their own physical and mental well-being. IHL was created to address this gap — offering doctors a platform to reconnect with fitness, teamwork, and personal wellness, while also driving awareness around two of the most critical health challenges of our time: cancer awareness and mental health.
Modeled on the IPL format, the league features regional franchise teams representing doctors from leading hospitals and institutions such as AIIMS, Max, Fortis, Apollo, and more. Through high-energy T20 matches, IHL showcases how healthcare professionals can successfully balance demanding careers with fitness, camaraderie, and community engagement.
